Ahh, Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. Philly is great because it is so rich in American history, not to mention the famous “Rocky” history the city holds. During the day, we had to visit the famous Rocky Balboa statue and climb the “Rocky steps” in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. After that we grabbed lunch because we knew no trip to Philly would be complete without having an authentic “Philly Cheesesteak.” Although there are several places offering cheesesteak in the city, there are two main competing restaurants - Pat’s and Geno’s. So, naturally, we tried both. Obviously, this was not a “healthquest” day but our tastebuds were very happy!
As for the show, we played in the Manayunk Brewery which is just outside the downtown core. We had two great openers, Chuck Schaeffer and Suzanne Gorman, who both sounded terrific. On top of that, we even had a few friends travel all the way from the UK to see the show.
