Touring with characters like the Cherry Suede guys is bound to produce its legendary moments. Fortunately, we've caught some of them on tape and posted them in this CSTV video series.

Crossing Abbey Road

RS and RY finally check "crossing Abbey Road" off their mutual "bucket list". On the last day of the tour, they decided to spend the entire day exploring as much of London as they could before flying back to Canada. It was an 8 or 9 hour walking trek.....and Abbey Road was their first destination.

Opening For Rick Springfield

Cherry Suede's picture

The band was offered the opening slot when Rick Springfield came to Montreal to play at the beautiful Olympia Theater. Everything was great that day....the theater, the crew, the stage, the sound, and most of all the crowd. Rick and his band sounded amazing, and they were so gracious with the boys backstage...chatting and posing for pictures. A great time was had by all

Rough Morning For Dan After Rick Springfield Show

The morning after Cherry Suede played the coveted opening slot for Rick Springfield at the Olympia Theater in Montreal. Since it was a hometown show for the boys, they lived it up a little with friends and family after the show. Dan may have "lived it up" a little too much, since it was rather difficult to get him out of bed the next morning....approximately 90 after the band's scheduled hotel check-out time.

RS, RY and The Mars Patrol's Davina Devine work out harmonies to the Cherry Suede song "Learning How To Let You Go". From this show on, Davina was regularly brought up to join the boys on this number for the rest of the UK Tour, and always did an amazing job.

Speaking Scottish

The accents all through the different countries in the UK were easier to understand than RY and RS had originally thought. It was the little things that threw them off their game...the slang, as we say in North America. This video shows one of RY and RS's favorite new expressions.

Fat Man In A Little Coat

Cherry Suede's picture

After the last show of the UK Tour, in Bristol, RS and RY decided to let loose and have a few drinks with some UK fans at a local bar right near their hotel. RS wanted to try on one woman's very "Beatle-esque" red coat, but alas, it was a touch too small...so he mugged it up for the cameras instead.

Sorority Row
